چکیده
These notes present the work that I have done in the first six months of my PhD. The research topic is on how to apply search algorithms to Software Engineering problems. Among these many problems, I chose to investigate the “Test Data Generation” for Object Oriented Software. A review of the literature related to this problem is presented. A justification on why this particular problem has been chosen follows. A short summary of my research done so far is included. Full details are gathered in a conference paper, attached in the appendix. Finally, future work that will lead toward the Thesis Proposal is discussed.

Research Student Monitoring Group Report 2
Most engineering problems in the real world have several objectives that have to be fulfilled, assigning the appropriate values to the decision variables involved in them. These problems are commonly called multi-objective problems. Most of the times the objectives in these problems are in conflict. This means that, when we try to optimize one objective, we will probably not optimize them all. ...
متن کاملUnderstanding student information behavior in relation to electronic information services: Lessons from longitudinal monitoring and evaluation, Part 2
This two part article establishes a model of the mediating factors that influence student information behavior concerning electronic or digital information sources that support their learning. The first part reviews the literature that underpinned the development of the research methodology for the JISC User Behavior Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, as well as the literature that has subseq...

The VRP’s main objective is to obtain the lowest-cost set of routes to deliver demand to customers, but we can also think about reducing the cardinality of the set of routes. In addition, we can contemplate other objectives like the makespan, workload balance, and some others [10]. This means that we can consider VRP as a multi-objective problem. Moreover, VRP has several variants of increased ...
متن کاملNew methods in ambulatory blood pressure monitoring: interactive monitoring and detection of posture and movement patterns.
Psychophysiological monitoring can be used to assess emotional reactivity in cardiovascular measures. Since blood pressure (BP) variability in daily life is primarily caused by physical activity, metabolic and nonmetabolic effects are confounded. A newly developed method of multiple accelerometry allows for the control of such unwanted variances by continuously detecting posture, general activi...
